Landscape No.3 by Fernando Hocevar
In the midst of so many things happening that one isolated incident does not step out of the jumble and wave eagerly for me to sit down and write about it here, something like this must suffice. I first saw this painting (?) on a calendar a few years ago, and subsequently discovered that there was a Museum of Computer Art. Who'da thunk it. Isn't green a beautiful colour?
Incidentally, Hocevar's website has this - for lack of a better word - blurb that tells you about his art:
His work is a singing solo that joins the sidereal chorus lovers eternity that we call beauty.

I've been trying to figure out what that means for the past half an hour.
There is too much to read and too much to watch and too much to do right now. Beauty in the breakdown, my left foot. I hate not being able to sleep. All I want to do is sit here till the end of summer watching pretty things. Like old illustrations from books on Ukrainian folk tales. Something like this:

I'm very tempted to call this post Untitled. Would have been befitting of the content.
Did I just use who'da thunk it in this post?

11 have survived.:
I would have said 'wow' again, just to be the pestilential kid, but I am busy figuring out that bit of critique.
I have been s pending many half nights reading Maya Angelou's and Neruda's memoirs. I have Eric Clapton and Lance Armsstrong waiting. More jabo.
Art...Some people use it to draw beautiful naked women that ironically awes everyone. It would be useful as porn in the medieval times. How many people do you think have jerked off to 'the birth of Venus'?
@ dotl: tumi aantel. maya angelou indeed.
@ pom: but naked women are beautiful, aren't they? better-looking than naked men, at any rate :P
Hey, so that makes Priyanka Kumar, Christina Aguilera and Anushka Sen the 3 women I know, who think nudity is more appealing in the case of women.
Of course women in the nude are way better to look at than naked men!!
I fourth MCM. Of course nude women are a pettier sight than nude men.
I fifth Pratiti :-)
The green thingy's weirdly haunting.
"Green is the colour of her kind..."
WV: grasp
And the caption thingy's in Russian :)
Off topic, can you tell me the name of the book or story that is?
I remember something about three kids and their mother goat and the wolf and honey bread. It was always honey bread...
@ rover: I don't know, I googled russian fairytale and got this.
@ newage: indeed, you'd notice. i'd forgotten :P
@ Sroyon and pratiti: hello.
@ debo and death: thankyou for support. funny sentence but true.
@ pom: stop thinking about art. all art is useless, as The Man said.
