Since I have realised that part of the reason this blog exists is because I am very adept at giving away embarrassing facts about myself (and agonising over it later), here is another one of those posts that make me wonder why on earth I do things like this.
This was before the great begriming. Here is what happened after.
I'm grinning right now through faintly pink teeth at everyone who did not need to see these pictures but did. These are not technically Before and After images. They're in-betweeners. I'd put up a Before image and an After image too, if only I didn't look like something that's decomposing after scrubbing all the colour off. Besides, I look nicer this way. I'd like to look like this everyday.
Sometimes I wonder what would happen if a spaceship with creatures from another planet landed somewhere here on Holi. As a kid I'd go around saying "I come in peace" to anyone who looked like they didn't like what was going on around them. Then, of course, I'd chuck something at them. A balloon, a projectile of coloured water, a grin and some red powder. I like these what-if scenarios too much to let go of them, so today I was thinking, what if I don't play today? I never had much self-discipline, and besides, it's such a waste of opportunity for someone who secretly likes chaos. So much colour the eyes beg for more time to take it all in, but then that is how Holi is, glimpses of things flying around in the air, too fast for you to notice them before you're hit. I love every bit of it. And in some way I end up loving people more if and when they play it like maniacs.
I'm still grinning.
Moving on, will these blogger headers I keep uploading never show?

Will you chang the font colour, I had to highlight the thing to damned read it.
Your holi seems tame considering you are covered with only gulaal and I could see 3 spots of uncoloured skin, chee cheee.
I shampoo-ed my hair 13 times and my friends sold my pictures on Facebook to Stan Lee to make a comic book.
