Let us get rid of the hate, and let us rise and live in a world with no tags. I am here finishing the last two tags I can remember being tagged with, and I shall do no more. I simply refuse to. If you tag me again, be prepared for a stubborn silence, and assume I'm curling my lip disdainfully at you. And, for effect, gah.
Tagged by Sangy, whom I don't really hate for tagging me, except it's a matter of principle and all that.
So here are the (grumble, grumble) rules:
RULE #1 People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.
RULE #2 Tag 6 people to do this quiz and those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by and cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.
And I thought we lived in a free world.
1. If your lover betrayed you what would your reaction be? I'll never know till it happens.
2. If you could have one dream come true which one would it be? Writing a book. The mindmessing kind.
3. Whose butt would you like to kick? A lot of people, but I'm no action hero. Peace.
4. What would you do with a billion dollars? Travel to all the places whose names I've been writing down despairingly in various diaries. And buy a really fabulous camera to capture them with.
5. Will you fall in love with your best friend? Will I? What do I look like, the Oracle?
6. Which is more blessed: loving someone or being loved by someone? Both make you grin inanely. You don't need degrees of blessedness to choose one over the other.
7. How long would you wait for someone you love? I have no idea. I probably wouldn't wait for a month. I'd probably wait all my life.
8. If the person you like is secretly attached, what would you do? If he's secretly attached, I'd have no way of knowing. If he's otherwise attached, I'd sigh and drink some tea and get on with life
9. If you could root for one social cause which one would it be? I'd much rather root for environmental causes, but I'd give child rights a go too.
10. What takes you down the fastest? Technically, tiredness. Although I can stretch it pretty far. In the other sense, I'm not very likely to tell you. Sorry, but that's how it is.
11. Where do you see yourself in 10 years' time? Living out of a suitcase in a country where I can't speak the language, working some odd job, taking photographs in my free time, blogging still.
12. What's your fear? Growing old and having to depend on people who don't really want me.
13. What kind of person(s) do you think the person who tagged you is/are? From random impressions, fuzzy and nice, and in spite of the madness, very grounded.
14. Would you rather be single and rich or married and poor? In love and poor, more like.
15. What is the first thing you do when you wake up? Switch the alarm off, and half-doze for some more time.
16. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously who would you pick? Pick? Dude, I'm just not that privileged. It's possible to fall in love with five different things in five different people, but it's not like the choice is yours.
17. Would you give all in a relationship? I'd need my moments of running away.
18. What's eating you now? The prospect of a lousy dinner.
19. Do you prefer being single or in a relationship? Both are agreeable when they are, both aren't when they aren't. 'Nuff said.
20. Tag 6 people... wait for this - I REFUSE. Evil grin, yes.
Also, second tag. Name five fellow bloggers who, if they wrote a book, would have you queuing up to buy the first copy.
One, because of the blog in itself.
Two, I don't know if she blogs still, but what a writer she is. Another blog of hers here.
Three, who will probably not believe I have no ulterior motives behind mentioning him here.
Four, who startles me with every post.
Five, and a second five, both of whom would write delightful books if they only posted more frequently. Practice makes perfect, heed this eggshell.
And finally, here are the ten songs I've been listening to over and over again this past week:
1) Street Spirit (Fade Out) - Radiohead
2) Spark - Nitin Sawhney
3) Endlessly - Muse
4) Sunrise - The Who
5) Waste - Phish
6) Smile - David Grey (Almost as good as This Year's Love, but not quite.)
7) Timeless - Kate Havnevik
8) And I Love Him - Diana Krall
9) The Golden Floor - Snow Patrol
10) Ek Haseen Shaam Ko Dil Mera Kho Gaya - Mohd. Rafi (for good measure.)
I haven't added Jee Karda here, because it goes down by default as the catchiest song I've ever heard. I'll probably still be listening to it secretly when I'm forty. Ditto for Mika's Lollipop. What is it with these songs?
Do any of the three you like. I especially recommend the last two. Yes, the last one is a tag. I just turned it into one. Disregard the beginning of this post, there is evil in all of us. May the force be with you.

13 have survived.:
If you even realized the amount of time I spend brooding on what is right and what is not right for publishing..probably the hundred odd unpublished posts on my blogger account might provide a clue..
But we will take a hint and do these tags pronto.

Is it me or does this remind you of the chain mail people keep sending?
20. Tag 6 people... wait for this - I REFUSE. Evil grin, yes.
